Valle de Guadalupe is a vibrant wine country with plenty of fun activities to enjoy, ranging from wine tasting and culinary adventures to outdoor activities and arts and cultural experiences. We highly recommend taking advantage of all that Valle de Guadalupe has to offer. We've included some of our favorites below.

WINE TASTINGS & TOURS

Explore world-renowned wineries like Monte Xanic, L.A. Cetto, and Dulce Vida by Solar Fortun. Many wineries offer guided tastings and scenic vineyard tours.


If tours aren't your thing, there are dozens of amazing wineries that offer unique experiences, such as Frida, a winery dedicated to Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, Cuatro Cuatros, which offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, or Bloodlust, which transports you into a unique experience built inside a replica of a droplet of wine.

Monte Xanic: A long-standing and highly regarded winery, Monte Xanic is known for its consistently excellent wines and overall quality.


El Cielo Winery & Resort: El Cielo offers a fun and informative wine-tasting experience, and is also a resort, making it a great option for an overnight stay.


Finca La Carrodilla: This winery stands out for being the first organic and biodynamic winery in Mexico, and its Árbol line is particularly noteworthy, especially the 2021 Grenache rosé.


Vena Cava: Vena Cava is known for its distinctive architecture, built from reclaimed fishing boats, and for its focus on natural wines.


Bodegas Magoni: A locally loved winery with a focus on producing high-quality wines.


Bruma Wine Garden: A winery that offers a beautiful and modern setting, blending design with wine. Also home to a Michelin Star restaurant!


Las Nubes Bodegas y Viñedos: This winery is known for its beautiful vineyard views and high-quality wines.


Decantos Vinicola: A budget-friendly option that also offers stunning views of the valley.


Vinos Lechuza: A family-owned winery that is a favorite among visitors.


Adobe Guadalupe: This winery offers a unique experience with its charming atmosphere and wines.


Sol y Barro: A small boutique winery known for its friendly staff and excellent red wines, particularly their Nebbiolo, Syrah-Grenache, Tempranillo, and Grenache-Cabernet blends.


Vinos Xecue: A winery that is known for its high-quality wines.

Perhaps you enjoy cooking food as much as you do eating it... if so, Valle de Guadalupe has several unique cooking classes and culinary experiences.


Hacienda Eco-Domes - The Mexican Cooking Class at Hacienda Eco-Domes is a popular choice, with a focus on traditional Mexican cooking methods and local ingredients. The class includes a garden tour for picking fresh herbs and vegetables, and utilizes techniques like cooking with clay pots and wood-fired stoves. It's available in group or private settings.


Baja Test Kitchen - They specialize in hands-on culinary workshops, partnering with local establishments to offer unique learning experiences.


La Cocina Que Canta at Rancho La Puerta - This location offers both cooking classes and collaborative dinners with wine pairings.


La Dulce Vista - Offers a Mexican cooking and mixology class alongside bike tours.
